It looks like today is all about Jailbreaking NEWS – Just now we have reported you that the Chronic Dev Team will release GreenPois0n RC5 Untethered jailbreak pretty soon as it was updated in iPhone Wiki. This morning we have aloso reported you about @pod2g, who has found yet another vulnerability in iOS 4.2.1 / iOS 4.3.
Now, just a little while ago @MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team,
tweeted some thing really exciting - In a conversitin with @pod2g,
@muscleNerd mentioned that geohot will release his iboot-level untethered for certain devices after February 10th, 2011. – Could it be rubyra1n ? Well, for that we have to wait and see. As mentioned in the tweet, this untethered jailbreak will only be for certain devices. I guess it will be for new device – iPhone 4, iPad, iPodTouch 4G and possible Apple TV 2G.
The Conversation started something like this..
@pod2g – Hi, for those asking if it’s bootrom / iboot / kernel / other , I’m not answering because I don’t want to give any clue.
@MuscleNerd – @pod2g – It’s not bootrom
@pod2g – @MuscleNerd sure
@MuscleNerd – @pod2g (for instance I think geohot will release his iboot-level untether for certain devices after 2/10/11, if there’s a void)

Sony has released a new firmware 3.56 for PlayStation 3 to Patch and block all Jailbreak and Hombrew Apps of PlayStation 3. All those who have Jailbroken their PS3 on Firmware 3.55 can’t access their PS3 Network (PSN).
However, there seems to be a way to bypass this recent firmware update
and access PlayStation Network as well as play online games without
actually updating to 3.56 firmware. So you can maintain your Jailbreak
on FW 3.55 and also access the PSN.
